Benjamin Barker Australia aims to provide our customers with an exceptional shopping experience. We understand that there may be rare occasions where shoppers are not completely satisfied, and it is important for us to hear your feedback. SOLD OUT ITEMS

If an item you have ordered is out of stock, you will have the option of exchanging it for a similar item (where applicable) or simply have it refunded. No additional postage charges apply. We attempt to locate your item from a store, within reason and if it is available.

RETURNS, REFUNDS & EXCHANGES - AUSTRALIA

CHANGE OF MIND

If you have changed your mind about your purchase, Benjamin Barker Australia will be pleased to offer you an exchange provided that:

  • The item is in original condition and is unwashed, unworn, unused and has not been altered or personalised and all tags remain attached to the garment
  • Presentation of the original invoice or receipt within 30 days of purchase

It is the customer's responsibility to try all garments on before removing tags, as we cannot accept any returned products without the tags attached to the garment. Returns that are damaged or soiled may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer and/or exchange/refund refused.

Exchanges of online purchases may be made in person at a Benjamin Barker Australia store (with exceptions) or by post (See online returns below). Please note that the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

Please note that we do not offer refunds for change of mind unless the item is deemed faulty.

ITEMS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR EXCHANGE

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange - Pocket Squares, Ties, Tie Clips, Socks, Belts, Lapel Pins & Cufflinks.

Due to health reasons, shoes and all footwear items are non-exchangeable or refundable.

The only exception is a damaged or incorrect item shipped by Benjamin Barker Australia (see below for details)

FAULTY ITEMS

As a consumer, you are entitled to the benefit of statutory consumer guarantees in respect of items purchased from Benjamin Barker Australia at any of our stores. In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, if the item has a major failure, you may seek a refund or exchange.

CLEARANCE ITEMS

All clearance items are final sale. We do not offer refunds unless the item is deemed faulty. Please ensure that you have chosen the right size before purchasing.

At this time, our website does not provide online store credit. Head office refunds/exchanges can take up to 7 business days for processing.  

Special Exceptions

Please choose carefully as we do not offer exchange or refund on the following items unless the item is faulty or where otherwise required by law:

  • Made-to-measure and altered garments

Countries Not Eligible for Return or Exchange
At this time, we are only able to offer returns and exchanges to customers in Australia. Orders to all other countries are final sale. The only exception is a damaged or incorrect item shipped by Benjamin Barker (see below for details).

Return / Exchange: Incorrect Items & Damaged Goods
If you have received a damaged or incorrect item due to an error on our end, you will be eligible for an exchange of the same item. If a replacement item is not available, customers will be given a full refund.

Exchange: Wrong Size
If you have ordered the wrong size, you may return the item to make an exchange. If a replacement item is not available, customers will be given a full refund.

Terms & Conditions For All Exchanges & Returns
All exchanges are subject to the following terms and conditions:
Exchanges will be granted at Benjamin Barker's sole discretion, based on the following conditions:

1. Customer must send a request for exchange with order number and details of exchange, within thirty (30) days of receipt of goods to contactmelb@benjaminbarker.com.au

2. If the claim is approved, we will reply with a return postal address and all relevant information. Exchanges will only be entertained after we have approved the exchange request via email. We will not be responsible for any exchange packages received without approved exchange requests.

3. Goods must be returned in original condition with no evidence of use (i.e. no traces of scents, no stains, unwashed, complete with tags and labels etc.)

4. Buyer pays for all return freight or postal charges (two-way), including duty and tax, if applicable. In the event of an exchange due to production defects, delivery of wrong size specified in order and/or delivery of wrong item, we will return the correct item to the customer at the last indicated delivery address at no extra cost within twenty (20) working days of receipt of returned item. To claim refund for return shipping in such an event, the customer has to send us an evidence of return shipping cost within five (5) working days of shipping. Refund on shipping cost will be made in online store credit via a coupon code.

5. Benjamin Barker will not be held responsible for lost packages.

6. Each item can only be exchanged once for another similar product (or equal value) or a full refund.

7. Returned product must reach us within twenty (20) days of our approval of the exchange request. Extensions will be granted on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. Benjamin Barker will not be liable for any goods which fail to reach us before end of the exchange period window. All returns and exchanges must be delivered back to us using a traceable service with a tracking number.

8. Refunds are not immediate and may take up to fifteen (15) working days to be completed.

If any of the above stated conditions are not met, we will not go through with the exchange transaction. Benjamin Barker reserves the right to refuse any exchanges.
Anyone deemed by Benjamin Barker to be abusing the returns policy or making false claims will be barred from shopping at www.benjaminbarker.com.au or any other outlet of Benjamin Barker.
